For five years, Consorcio Gastronómico sourced seafood from NETUNO, recognizing its commitment to quality and consistency. As demand for premium seafood grew, Consorcio approached NETUNO with a vision—to bring more high-quality seafood to the Dominican market. This led to the creation of NETUNO República Dominicana, a partnership built on trust, growth, and opportunity.

To meet increasing demand, the partnership launched ConsNetu, a dedicated freezer operations company, and established a Frozen Distribution Freezer with 3 million pounds of storage capacity—including one million pounds exclusively for NETUNO containers. The remaining space offers temporary storage solutions for other businesses, further strengthening the region’s cold chain infrastructure.

Looking ahead, NETUNO República Dominicana is applying to become a Bonded Warehouse, unlocking operational efficiencies and positioning itself as the premier seafood hub for the Caribbean Islands. Expansion plans include increasing storage capacity to nine million pounds and securing an additional strategic location within the Dominican Republic to support continued growth.
