Ft. Lauderdale, FL (March 8th, 2023) – NETUNO proudly announces that it recently closed a deal with Prime Seafood LTDA to become its exclusive importer and distributor of its Snapper only. Prime Seafood LTDA is the second-largest producer of Snapper in Brazil.
With exclusive rights to Prime’s volume, NETUNO is positioned to increase its already strong production of Snapper by 40%. Luciano Bonaldo, on what this deal means for NETUNO: “We’re excited that this is how we’re kicking off our 30th anniversary, strengthening our market position with the item that gave us our start in 1993.”
In addition to market stability, this deal helps strengthen NETUNO’s position on sustainability. Brazilian Snapper is protected under a comprehensive FIP with an A rating on FisheryProgress.org.
