Butterflied Branzino in Cream Caper Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 NETUNO Butterflied Branzino Fillets
  • Salt & pepper
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 4 tablespoons Capers
  • 1 Shallot, sliced fine
  • ½ Bunch of Fresh Parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat a cast iron to a sizzling hot temperature.
  2. Season branzino fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. Place butterflied branzino fillets skin down in the iron for 3 minutes, then flip and sear for 2 minutes.
  4. Remove the fillet from the cast iron and add the heavy cream, capers, and shallots to the pan. Add salt and pepper to taste and whisk slowly until thickened.
  5. Add the fillet back to the pan and baste with the sauce for one minute.
  6. Serve with rice pilaf or your choice of side.
