Broiled Mussels with Panko & Pecorino

Ingredients

  • 1 pound NETUNO Mussels on the Half Shell
  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup grated Pecorino or Parmesan
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Pinch of crushed red pepper (optional)
  • Lemon wedges & chopped parsley to serve

Instructions

  1. Preheat your broiler.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the panko, cheese, garlic, olive oil, and a pinch of crushed red pepper if using.
  3. Arrange NETUNO Mussels on a baking sheet and spoon a bit of the mixture onto each shell.
  4. Broil for 2–3 minutes or until the topping is golden and bubbly.
  5. Serve warm with lemon wedges and a sprinkle of parsley.
