Netuno USA Partners with St. Thomas University for Student Culinary Competition

NETUNO is proud to announce an upcoming partnership with the St. Thomas University Culinary Arts Program to host a live, multi-round culinary competition on October 16th.

Designed to support and showcase the next generation of culinary talent, the event will challenge student chefs across freshman, sophomore, and senior classes to demonstrate their technical skills, creativity, and speed under real-world kitchen conditions.

The Challenge

The competition will feature individual student chefs competing across two timed sessions. Participating students will be tasked with incorporating our premium Bahamian Conch Meat into both an original appetizer and a main course application.

Judging will focus on flavor profile, presentation, execution, and effective utilization of the feature ingredient.

Bridging Education and Industry

As part of NETUNO’s commitment to culinary education and professional development, the competition aims to give emerging chefs direct visibility within the commercial seafood and hospitality sectors.

Winning students and their signature dishes will be featured across our digital channels and industry communications, introducing their work directly to executive chefs, buyers, and industry leaders.

Event Coverage

Behind-the-scenes coverage, live competition updates, and final dish highlights will be shared across our social channels throughout the event on October 16th, so stay tuned!
